Return Material Authorization Policy
To ensure proper handling and inspection, Hill House Products requires all returned materials of any kind to receive prior authorization before they are shipped back. A "Return Material Authorization" number or RMA # is issued from Hill House Products prior to return, and must be written on all accompanying packing slips, bills of lading and documentation. If you have a product that is believed to be faulty, please contact one of our inside sales/customer service members for assistance.
When you request an RMA # please be prepared to have the full factory part number, the date of manufacture (usually found on the label or packaging) and the reason for the return. The product should be shipped in its original packaging. Hill House Products is not responsible for damage to a product that is shipped back to us in "insufficient packaging or poorly packaged condition". All wood pallets should be ISPM-15 (solid wood packaging material treatment) for shipment through customs.
Hill House Products will inspect the product and notify the customer on the disposition of the return and subsequent warranty within 30 days or less after our receipt of the product. Please see our warranty policy statement to familiarize yourself with the covered terms.
If the product is determined to be in warranty, and the return freight costs are "normal", Hill House Products will pay for the freight cost to ship the product back to us, and its return back to the customer.
